Adjustment of saturation
The saturation of the scanned image is adjusted for color-scanning.
<Adjustment Mode (05)>
<Procedure>
(1)
While pressing [0] and [5] simultaneously, turn the power ON.
(2)
Key in the codes and press the [START] button.
(3)
Key in the adjustment values. Acceptable values: 0 to 255.
(To correct the value once keyed in, press the [CLEAR] button.)
(4)
Press the [OK] or [INTERRUPT] button to store the value in the memory.

The equipment goes
back to the ready state.
(5)
Let the equipment restart and perform the scanning job.
(6)
If the desired image has not been attained, repeat step (1) to (5).

Background offsetting adjustment for RADF (common for copy,
scan and fax)
The background level for scanning originals with the RADF is adjusted when the background fogging at
the scanning of a manually-set original and an original used with the RADF is different. This is to adjust
the level of the background image removed when the scanning of the originals with the RADF is
performed.

P. 6-68 "6.4.2 Density adjustment".
