9. Using a phillips screwdriver, remove the ‘Y’ fitting located
above pump heads (Figure 6-23).

” wrench, remove the check valve housings
from the top and bottom of the pump heads (Figure 6-24).
With the check valve housings removed, remove the exist-
ing check valve cartridge and install the new check valve
cartridge into the housing. Make sure the arrow on the
body of the check valve cartridge is pointing upwards in
the direction of the flow (Figure 6-24).

On an outlet check valve, the arrow is reversed.
11.Reinstall the check valve housings into the pump heads
and tighten. Reconnect the ‘Y’ fittings removed in step 5
and reconnect the inlet and outlet lines. Reassemble the
instrument in the reverse order of disassembly.
12.Place the solvent supply lines into the proper connectors
and reprime the system.
