CAMSHAHT HOUSING
DISASSEMBLY
• Pull out the rocker arm shafts

• Remove the valve rocker arms

and wave washers

ROCKER ARM SHAFT OUTSIDE DIAMETER INSPECTION
• Measure each rocker arm shaft out side diameter using the
micrometer.
• If the diameter exceeds the limit, replace the rocker arm shaft
with a new one.
Rocker arm shaft O.D. (IN. & EX.):
Standard: 11.986 – 11.994 mm (0.4719 – 0.4722 in)
09900-20205: Micrometer (0 – 25 mm)
ROCKER ARM INSIDE DIAMETER INSPECTION
• Measure the inside diameter of the rocker arm and check the
wear of the camshaft contacting surface.
• If the diameter exceeds the limit or any damage is found,
replace the rocker arm with a new one.
Rocker arm I.D. (IN. & EX.):
Standard: 12.003 – 12.018 mm (0.4726 – 0.4731 in)
09900-20605: Dial calipers (10 – 34 mm)
REASSEMBLY
Reassemble the camshaft housing in the reverse order of disas-
sembly. Pay attention to the following points:
• Apply engine oil to the rocker arm shafts

• Align the rocker arm shaft grooves

ing holes
