• Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise and remove the cam-
shaft sprocket bolts

NOTE:
Do not drop the camshaft sprocket bolts

into the cylinder
head.
• Slide and drop the camshaft sprocket

to the camshaft

• Disengage the cam chain

from the camshaft sprocket

• Remove the camshaft

and camshaft sprocket

• Remove the C-ring
C

NOTE:
Do not drop the C-ring
C
into the cylinder head.
CYLINDER HEAD
• Loosen the cylinder bolts

• Remove the cam chain tensioner

• Remove the cylinder head bolts and washers.
NOTE:
When loosening the cylinder head bolts, loosen each bolt little
by little diagonally.
• Remove the cylinder head
