1. Assigning codes to a one water heater installation:

There’s only one flow pipe, encoded FF, and one return pipe, encoded RR. For the right diameters
see § 9.4.1, pick the table of the corresponding water heater type.
2. Assigning codes to cascades: two or more water heaters to connect:

First number the water heaters: water heater-
1 is the one that‘s situated the furthest away from the
tank(s).

