You ȱ can ȱ easily ȱ e Ȭ mail ȱ objdf ȱ files ȱ using ȱ Microsoft
®
ȱ Office ȱ Outlook
®
. ȱ Sending ȱ
objdf ȱ files ȱ is ȱ recommended ȱ (instead ȱ of ȱ stl ȱ files) ȱ because ȱ the ȱ size ȱ of ȱ a ȱ file ȱ is ȱ
typically ȱ reduced ȱ by ȱ more ȱ than ȱ half. ȱ An ȱ added ȱ benefit ȱ is ȱ that ȱ the ȱ objdf ȱ file ȱ
contains ȱ the ȱ model Ȭ material ȱ information ȱ for ȱ the ȱ object.
To e-mail a file:
1. From ȱ the ȱ Tools ȱ menu, ȱ select ȱ
Email Objet Digital File
.
Outlook ȱ opens ȱ with ȱ the ȱ file ȱ attached ȱ and ȱ Subject ȱ details ȱ added ȱ to ȱ the ȱ
e Ȭ mail ȱ form.
2. Enter ȱ the ȱ e Ȭ mail ȱ address ȱ and ȱ send ȱ the ȱ file.
Printing the
Tray File
When ȱ a ȱ tray ȱ is ȱ ready ȱ to ȱ be ȱ printed, ȱ it ȱ is ȱ placed ȱ in ȱ the ȱ Jobs ȱ Queue. ȱ When ȱ the ȱ
job ȱ reaches ȱ the ȱ head ȱ of ȱ the ȱ queue, ȱ Objet ȱ Studio ȱ pre Ȭ processes ȱ the ȱ tray ȱ file ȱ to ȱ
create ȱ slices, ȱ and ȱ feeds ȱ them ȱ to ȱ the ȱ 3D ȱ printer.
To send the tray to the print queue:
1. On ȱ the ȱ Tray ȱ Settings ȱ ribbon, ȱ Build ȱ Process ȱ group, ȱ click ȱ .

If ȱ printing ȱ the ȱ tray ȱ requires ȱȱ (Digital ȱ Material ȱ mode), ȱ the ȱ Job ȱ
Summary ȱ dialog ȱ box ȱ opens. ȱ

Mode ȱ Selection ȱ dialog ȱ box ȱ opens.

2. Select ȱ the ȱ appropriate ȱ printing ȱ mode.

If ȱ you ȱ require ȱ the ȱ job ȱ to ȱ be ȱ printed ȱ in ȱ High ȱ Quality ȱ mode, ȱ select ȱ this ȱ
option.
Note: The availability of High Quality mode depends on the material
selected.

If ȱ you ȱ require ȱ the ȱ job ȱ to ȱ be ȱ printed ȱ in ȱ High ȱ Speed ȱ mode, ȱ select ȱ this ȱ
option.

If ȱ you ȱ do ȱ not ȱ require ȱ the ȱ job ȱ to ȱ be ȱ printed ȱ either ȱ in ȱ High ȱ Quality ȱ or ȱ
High ȱ Speed ȱ mode, ȱ select ȱ
