To replace the waste container:
1. Locate ȱ the ȱ door ȱ on ȱ the ȱ lower Ȭ left ȱ side ȱ of ȱ the ȱ printer.
2. Push ȱ in ȱ the ȱ top Ȭ center ȱ of ȱ the ȱ door ȱ to ȱ release ȱ the ȱ latch ȱ and ȱ open ȱ the ȱ
door.

3. Carefully ȱ slide ȱ out ȱ the ȱ waste ȱ container ȱ to ȱ remove ȱ it ȱ from ȱ the ȱ printer.
4. Close ȱ the ȱ full ȱ container ȱ with ȱ the ȱ cap ȱ supplied ȱ with ȱ the ȱ new ȱ waste ȱ
container.
5. Close ȱ the ȱ new ȱ waste Ȭ container ȱ box, ȱ using ȱ tape ȱ to ȱ hold ȱ it ȱ closed. ȱ

The ȱ container ȱ should ȱ be ȱ on ȱ the ȱ extreme ȱ right ȱ side ȱ of ȱ the ȱ
compartment. ȱ

Make ȱ sure ȱ that ȱ the ȱ waste ȱ drain ȱ tube ȱ is ȱ not ȱ crimped ȱ and ȱ that ȱ it ȱ is ȱ not ȱ
pinched ȱ by ȱ the ȱ container.
6. Close ȱ the ȱ waste ȱ compartment ȱ door.
Cleaning the
Exterior Panels
The ȱ painted ȱ exterior ȱ plastic ȱ panels ȱ of ȱ Stratasys ȱ 3D ȱ printers ȱ have ȱ a ȱ durable ȱ
finish, ȱ offering ȱ excellent ȱ chemical ȱ resistance ȱ to ȱ common ȱ cleaning ȱ materials. ȱ
Follow ȱ the ȱ recommendations ȱ below ȱ when ȱ cleaning ȱ these ȱ areas ȱ of ȱ the ȱ
printer.
Acceptable ȱ Cleaning ȱ Agents
•
mild ȱ soap ȱ solution ȱ
•
common ȱ household ȱ cleaners ȱ and ȱ window ȱ cleaners
•
common ȱ commercial ȱ and ȱ industrial ȱ detergents, ȱ 5% ȱ solution ȱ in ȱ water ȱ
•
alcohol ȱ (ethanol, ȱ isopropanol), ȱ 10% ȱ to ȱ 40% ȱ solution ȱ in ȱ water
Wipe ȱ the ȱ exterior ȱ of ȱ the ȱ printer, ȱ using ȱ a ȱ soft ȱ cloth ȱ moistened ȱ with ȱ the ȱ
cleaning ȱ solution.
Dispose of the full waste container in accordance with environmental and
safety requirements.
