Preparing the
Printer
To prepare the printer for producing models:
1. Make
ȱ
sure
ȱ
that
ȱ
the
ȱ
build
ȱ
tray
ȱ
in
ȱ
the
ȱ
printer
ȱ
is
ȱ
empty
ȱ
and
ȱ
clean.
ȱ
If
ȱ
not,
ȱ
remove
ȱ
cured
ȱ
material
ȱ
with
ȱ
the
ȱ
scraper,
ȱ
and
ȱ
clean
ȱ
the
ȱ
tray
ȱ
thoroughly
ȱ
with
ȱ
a
ȱ
wet
ȱ
cleaning
ȱ
cloth.
2. Make
ȱ
sure
ȱ
that
ȱ
there
ȱ
is
ȱ
sufficient
ȱ

and
ȱ
Support
ȱ
material
ȱ
loaded,
ȱ
as
ȱ
indicated
ȱ
in
ȱ
the
ȱ
printer
ȱ
interface

You

want

replace
ȱ
the
ȱ
cartridges
ȱ
of
ȱ
Model

and

currently

loaded

printer
ȱ
to
ȱ
avoid
ȱ
the
ȱ
need
ȱ
for
ȱ
replacing
ȱ
them

during

printing.

Before beginning to produce models, it is recommended that you check the
current printing quality of the print heads by performing a pattern test (see
“Pattern Test” on page 25).
CAUTION:
Use protective gloves when cleaning the build tray, and be
careful of the sharp edges of the scraper blade.
