To inspect, modify or remove the coating applied to an object:
1. On ȱ the ȱ Model ȱ Toolbar ȱ or ȱ the ȱ Model ȱ Settings ȱ ribbon, ȱ click ȱ .
The ȱ Coat ȱ with ȱ dialog ȱ box ȱ opens.
2. Perform ȱ one ȱ of ȱ the ȱ following ȱ actions—
•
Change ȱ the ȱ coating ȱ settings, ȱ and ȱ click ȱ
Apply

To ȱ remove ȱ the ȱ coating, ȱ clear ȱ the ȱ Coat ȱ With ȱ check ȱ box ȱ and ȱ click ȱ
Apply

•
To ȱ keep ȱ the ȱ current ȱ coating ȱ settings, ȱ click ȱ Apply ȱ or ȱ Cancel .
Assigning

Hidden
Objects
To ȱ enable ȱ you ȱ to ȱ assign ȱ materials ȱ and ȱ other ȱ properties ȱ to ȱ parts ȱ of ȱ objects ȱ
that ȱ are ȱ hidden ȱ from ȱ view ȱ on ȱ the ȱ build ȱ tray ȱ display, ȱ you ȱ can ȱ temporarily ȱ
turn ȱ off ȱ the ȱ display ȱ of ȱ some ȱ objects. ȱ
To prevent the display of objects:
1. Right Ȭ click ȱ an ȱ object, ȱ either ȱ on ȱ the ȱ build ȱ tray ȱ or ȱ in ȱ the ȱ model ȱ tree.
2. From ȱ the ȱ menu ȱ that ȱ opens, ȱ select ȱ one ȱ of ȱ the ȱ following ȱ options—
•
Hide , ȱ to ȱ cause ȱ the ȱ selected ȱ object ȱ to ȱ disappear.
•
Hide Others
, ȱ to ȱ cause ȱ all ȱ other ȱ objects ȱ on ȱ the ȱ build ȱ tray ȱ to ȱ disappear, ȱ
so ȱ that ȱ only ȱ the ȱ selected ȱ object ȱ is ȱ displayed.
Alternately, ȱ you ȱ can ȱ clear ȱ the ȱ check ȱ box ȱ next ȱ to ȱ the ȱ name ȱ of ȱ the ȱ
object ȱ in ȱ the ȱ model ȱ tree ȱ to ȱ cause ȱ that ȱ object ȱ to ȱ disappear.
