Freezing Model
Orientation
If ȱ you ȱ manipulate ȱ an ȱ object ȱ on ȱ the ȱ build ȱ tray, ȱ you ȱ can ȱ freeze ȱ its ȱ orientation ȱ
so ȱ that ȱ it ȱ does ȱ not ȱ change ȱ when ȱ you ȱ position ȱ it ȱ automatically ȱ (see ȱ
“Automatic ȱ Placement” ȱ on ȱ page 26).
To freeze an object:
1. Select ȱ an ȱ object ȱ on ȱ the ȱ build ȱ tray.
2. On ȱ the ȱ Model ȱ Settings ȱ ribbon, ȱ in ȱ the ȱ Manipulate ȱ group, ȱ or ȱ on ȱ the ȱ Model ȱ
Toolbar, ȱ click ȱ .
To unfreeze an object:

Select ȱ the ȱ object ȱ and ȱ click ȱ ȱ (to ȱ de Ȭ select ȱ it).

From ȱ the ȱ View ȱ menu, ȱ you ȱ can ȱ change ȱ the ȱ way ȱ objects ȱ are ȱ displayed. ȱ The ȱ
default ȱ method ȱ for ȱ displaying ȱ models ȱ on ȱ the ȱ build ȱ tray ȱ is ȱ as ȱ solid ȱ
(“shaded”) ȱ objects. ȱ

The ȱ other ȱ display ȱ options ȱ are ȱ WireFrame ȱ and ȱ Points.
To display the build tray in WireFrame view:

From ȱ the ȱ View ȱ menu, ȱ select ȱ WireFrame .
