Control Panel Lighting
When the imaging system is in use, all controls on the main control panel are
back-lit. Use the system presets to select from among three levels of back-lit
illumination. The system increases the lighting intensity of most active
controls to show you, at a glance, which functions are active. A lamp located
under the front handle provides additional lighting for the retractable keyboard.
Control Panel Audio Signal
Use the system presets to deactivate or adjust the volume of the beep.
Trackball
The trackball is the main interactive tool used to position image graphics and
text, and make selections from on-screen menus. You can use the trackball
in conjunction with the keys and controls located on the control panel,
including LCD selections.
When a particular function is active, the system assigns the trackball to a
specific task. The active function currently under trackball control is
represented by a green-highlighted: on-screen overlay, graphical object, or
icon on the lower left of the screen.
