To clean the trackball:
Caution:
Do not drop or place foreign objects inside the trackball assembly.
This may affect the trackball's operation and damage the system.
1. Remove the front panel bezel.
2. Remove the trackball.
3. Clean the trackball with tissue and isopropyl alcohol.
4. Clean the inside of the trackball assembly with a cotton swab and
isopropyl alcohol, paying particular attention to the
X
and
Y
encoders
and the idler wheel.
5. Allow the assembly parts to completely dry before reassembly.
6. Replace the trackball and front panel bezel.
