Cleaning an Air Filter
The air filter on the ultrasound system must be cleaned regularly to maintain
proper system cooling. Remove and check the air filter weekly, and clean
as needed.

To remove and clean the air filter:
Caution:
Do not scrub, stretch, or bend the filter, or apply heat to the filter, as
doing so could damage the filter.
1. Power off and unplug the power cord from the power outlet.
2. Grasp the filter by its tab and pull it out of the slot.
3. Rinse the air filter with running water and allow the filter to
completely dry.
To hasten drying, you may gently shake the filter, or blot the filter with a
clean, lint-free cloth.
Caution:
Do not insert a wet filter as this can damage the system.
5. Slide the air filter back into the ultrasound system.
6. Plug the power cord into the power outlet.
