Retrieving Existing Patient Data
Use the
ID List
function to transfer existing patient information from a
destination drive, such as the MO drive, to the
New Patient Data
form.
Note:
The
ID List
function is available for data on the MO drive only.
You can search patient information by categories to locate a specific patient
name, patient ID, exam type, physician name, or storage date. For OB
patients, you can locate information based on the EDC (estimated date
of confinement).
With DIMAQ-IP, you can also retrieve existing patient information from the
hard disk or inserted CD.
Note:
If you selected
ID Store
during a previous patient registration using the Patient
Data form, then the system saved (to MO disk) all information entered into the Patient
Data form for future retrieval.
To retrieve existing patient information for the patient data form:
1. Press the
F1
function key located on the keyboard to access the patient
data form.
2. Roll the trackball to the
ID LIST
button located at the bottom of the form
and then press the
SET
key.
Note:
The
ID List
function is available for data on the MO drive only.
The system displays the
ID LIST
screen with a listing of patient
information stored on the selected drive. Each row contains a specific
patient's information; the information is categorically arranged by
column headings.
The
ID DATA
field provides the total number of patient listings.
3. If you cannot locate a patient listing on the screen, then use the
following search method.
Note:
The
Reset
button restores the original display of patient information.
a. Enter patient-related information in the
Search Key
field that
corresponds to the leftmost column heading in the patient list. To
change the heading category for a search, roll the trackball to the
corresponding column heading and then press the
SET
key.
b. Select the
Search
button to conduct the search.
c. Expand your search by entering a portion of the data information in
the
Search Key
field, for example, "Jo", for "Johnson" for the
Name
column heading and then select the
Contain
checkbox and then
conduct the search.
