Volume Toolbar Selection
Description
Icon
Step Through
Steps through the volume, using the coronal slice (the red slice
quadrant). Roll the trackball up or to the left to step toward the
back of the volume. Roll the trackball down or to the right to step
toward the front of the volume.

Front Cut Plane
Enables/disables the front cut plane function for removing data
from the volume.
Note:
This selection is not available for the
Planes
rendering method.
Bubble Clip
Enables/disables the bubble clip function for removing data from
the volume.
When the bubble clip function is enabled using a toolbar, the
following selections are also available for resizing the ellipsoid
shape:
Bubble Clip Resize X, Y Axes
Bubble Clip Resize Z Axis
Box Clip
Enables/disables the box clip function for removing data from
the volume.
Box Clip Plane
Selects and then repositions a box clip plane for removing data
from the volume.
Note:
This function is available only when
Box
Clip
is selected.
Scalpel
Displays a scalpel icon for drawing a freeform shape around data
to be removed from or kept within the volume.
Note:
After data is removed, the system automatically creates a new
volume of interest (VOI) from the remaining data.
Note:
This selection is not available for the
Planes
rendering method.
New VOI
Creates a new volume of interest (VOI) from the displayed
volume data.
Note:
This function is available only after data has been removed
from the volume using at least one of the following selections:
Front
Cut Plane
,
Bubble Clip
,
Box
Clip
.
Undo
Cancels the last operation performed.
