Mounting the positioner on a linear actuator with OPOS interface (VDI/VDE 3847)

Requirement

Mounting surface may not exceed a surface roughness of Rz10 and a flatness deviation of

0.05 mm.

Description

Procedure

Prior to mounting the positioner, remove the cover foil from the pneumatic connections.

Attach magnet clamp

to the spindle of the actuator with fixing screws

②

. Align

magnet clamp

as shown on the picture.

Align the positioner. To do this, use the indent as a mounting guide, see picture in section

"Dimensions for OPOS interface (VDI/VDE 3847) (Page 31)".

Fasten the positioner on the interface. Tighten fixing screws

with a torque of 8 Nm.

This will result set the gap dimensions specified in the figure.
