6.2 Parameter description

Purpose:
To suppress rapid changes of the setpoint.
Description:
The setpoint rate is effective in automatic mode and limits the speed
of change of the effective setpoint.
When switching from manual mode to automatic mode, the setpoint
rate adjusts the effective setpoint to the setpoint on the positioner.
This smooth switchover from manual mode to automatic mode
prevents excessive increases in pressure in long pipelines.

Requirements:
