Error message
Causes/Corrective actions
Limit for endstop monitoring exceeded or fallen below.
Possible causes:
Valve seat or valve plug wear, if lower endstop fallen below.
Deposits or foreign bodies between valve seat or valve plug, if lower endstop
exceeded.
This applies analogously to valves that close upward.
Check the condition of the valve seat or valve plug immediately. Check the mechanical
adjustments.
Service the valve seat and/or valve plug. Subsequently carry out an initialization or a
stroke calibration. Error message also disappears if you deactivate the parameter.
"3.6.3 Shift lower endstop" (Page 108)
"3.6.4 Shift upper endstop" (Page 110)
Check the condition of the valve seat or valve plug promptly.
Below lower
endstop
Lower endstop
exceeded
Below upper
endstop
Upper endstop
exceeded
Indicates a faulty valve seat or valve plug.
Limit for line integral exceeded in 100% strokes.
Possible cause: The total distance covered by the control valve is over the defined
limit.
Check the condition of the valve and actuator, e.g. stuffing box, membrane,
immediately.
The error message disappears when the stroke counter is reset or the thresholds are
increased.
"3.6.5 Number of strokes" (Page 111)
Check the condition of the valve and actuator promptly.
Number of strokes
exceeded
Indicates that maintenance on the control valve is due soon.
Limit for the number of changes in direction has been exceeded.
Possible cause: The number of directional changes is above the defined limit.
Check the condition of the valve and actuator, e.g. stuffing box, membrane,
immediately.
The error message disappears when the direction change counter is reset or the
thresholds are increased.
"3.6.6 Number of direction changes" (Page 112)
Check the condition of the valve and actuator promptly.
Number of
direction changes
exceeded
Indicates that maintenance on the control valve is due soon.
