"5 Security" main menu
In the Security menu, you manage access to the positioner functions in the field as well as
the time-out.
Note
SUPER PIN is "4711"
The SUPER PIN is required for the purposes described below.

Security
5.1 Access management
Access management for the parameters is implemented using password
protection in the form of a 4-digit number. The SUPER PIN is "4711".
5.1.1 Enable protection
Use this parameter to activate access management. When the "Access
management" menu is opened the first time, this is the only parameter displayed.
The remaining parameters in the "Access management" menu are displayed only
after parameter "5.1.1 Enable Protection" has been activated.
5.1.2 Log in
Displayed when access management has been activated with parameter "5.1.1
Enable Protection". Factory setting is "0000". When logging in for the first time,
you must log in as a SUPER USER with "4711".
5.1.3 Log out
Access management is active. All parameters are read-only and cannot be
adjusted.
5.1.4 PIN change
Only possible if you are logged as a Super User with PIN "4711".
5.1.5 Disable protection
Use this parameter to activate access management again. You must be logged in
as a SUPER USER with "4711" for this.
5.1.6 Reset PIN
Only possible if you are logged as a Super User with PIN "4711".
5.2 Time-out
This parameter is only displayed if access management was activated
beforehand with parameter "5.1.1 Enable Protection".
Off: Factory setting
On: If you do not activate any key for a period of 5 minutes, access
management is activated automatically and the write-protected parameters
can no longer be adjusted.
