Purpose:
Setting the deadband
Description:
Use this parameter to suppress control oscillations. The larger the
deadband, the lower the control accuracy.
"2.1.2 Tight closing"

Purpose:
Achieving optimum valve operation.
Description:
If the setpoint falls below the value for the lower tight closing limit or
exceeds the value for the upper tight closing limit, the valve is moved
into the valve seat with the maximum actuator force.
The tight closing function is activated on one end or for both end
positions. Make sure that the valve is not damaged when utilizing the
tight closing function. The values for the lower and upper tight closing
limits are factory-set.
The pre-set values can be changed with the following two
parameters:

"2.1.4 Upper tight closing limit" (Page 73)
"2.1.3 Lower tight closing limit"
Requirements:
The respective setting for the tight closing function is activated.
