Reset—
Select the reset method for the inverse curve from the drop-down list: select the
D/T
(Definite Time) or
E/M
(Electromechanical) mode.
Reset Time—
When the
Definite Time
reset mode is selected, enter the time delay for
the reset (in seconds). (Range: 0.000-600.000; Step: 0.001)
Definite Time 1 Min. Trip—
This is the current (in primary amperes) at which the
Definite Time 1
element picks up. (Range: 6-16,000; Step: 1) The stated maximum
is for 15-kV IntelliRupter fault interrupters; 27-kV and 38-kV models are limited to
12,500 amps maximum.
Definite Time 1 Min. Time—
This is the time delay (in seconds) after which the
Definite Time 1
element trips. (Range: 0.000-600.000; Step: 0.001)
Definite Time 2 Min. Trip—
This is the current (in primary amperes) at which the
Definite Time 2
element picks up. (Range: 6-16,000; Step: 1) The stated maximum
is for 15-kV IntelliRupter fault interrupters; 27-kV and 38-kV models are limited to
12,500 amps maximum.
Definite Time 2 Min. Time—
This is the time delay (in seconds) after which the
Definite Time 2
element trips. (Range: 0.000-6000.000; Step: 0.001)
Sensitive Earth
The
Sensitive Earth
element will trip the IntelliRupter fault interrupter if the computed
residual of the three-phase elements exceeds the pickup value for the time value set by
the inverse curve or the
Definite Time
setting.
Sensitive Earth Check box—
Select this box to configure the
Sensitive Earth
element.
Inverse Segment—
Select from the drop-down list of inverse-curve names or select
the
None
option. When the
None
option is selected, only the
Definite Time
settings
will be used.
Min. Trip—
This is the current (in primary amperes) at which the inverse curve begins
timing. (Range: 3-16,000; Step: 1) The stated maximum is for 15-kV IntelliRupter fault
interrupters; 27-kV and 38-kV models are limited to 12,500 amps maximum.
Min. Time—
This is the time (in seconds) defining the fastest response of the inverse
curve portion of the TCC curve. (Range: 1.000-6000.000; Step: 0.001)
Time Mult.—
This is the time multiplier for the inverse curve. (Range: 0.01-15.00,
Step: 0.001)
Time Adder—
This is the time adder for the inverse curve. (Range: -10.000-100.000;
Step: 0.001)
Low Cutoff—
This is the current (in primary amperes) at which the TCC curve begins
timing. (Range: 3-16,000; Step: 1) The stated maximum is for 15-kV IntelliRupter fault
interrupters; 27-kV and 38-kV models are limited to 12,500 amps maximum.
Reset—
The reset method for the inverse curve is configurable for the
D/T
(Definite
Time) or
T/A
(Time Accumulation) modes. The
Time Accumulation
mode times when
current is above the
Minimum Trip
value and stops the timer when current is below the
Minimum Trip
value. The timer continues to count until either the
SEF
element trips,
or the element does not pick up for the duration of the user-specified SEF Element Reset
Time parameter and the element resets. The Time Accumulation method is the default.
