TCCs for Test Sequence – Test 1 through Test 4 Section
TCC values must be entered for Direction 1 and Direction 2 when the
Close Test
mode
is used. See Figure 43.
TCCs for
Test Sequence
Up to four operations (Test 1 to Test 4) can be specified to follow the Initial Trip event.
The settings entered for Direction 1 can be copied to Direction 2 and then modified as
necessary.
For each
Close
operation specified in the test sequence, either new TCC curves need
to be entered or the
Use Previous TCCs, and retain disk positions
command must
be selected with the radio button for that function.
When the
Use Previous TCCs
command is selected, the TCCs active for the previous
operation will be used. They may be fully or partially reset when the
Close
operation
occurs. There is no need to enter new TCCs on this screen.
When the
Use New TCCs
command is selected, the TCCs specified on this screen
are initiated at the time of the
Close
operation, with all elements fully reset.
The Phase, Ground, Neg. Seq., Sens. Earth, and High Current Lockout con-
figurations found in Test 2, Test 3, and Test 4 are the same as the configurations in
Test 1 and the “Initial Trip” section of the
Setup>Protection>General Profile1>
Direction 1 Current
screen. All options and ranges are the same as described for the
Initial Trip section. The options and ranges can be copied by selecting the
Initial Trip
option or a specific test on the
Copy From
drop-down menu.
