IntelliRupterEC 7.3 is the firmware for the SDA-4540R3 control while IntelliRupter 7.2
is the firmware for the SDA-4540R2 control. When IntelliRupterEC 7.3 is installed, a
provided script enables conversion of multiple IntelliRupter 7.3 saved settings files into
IntelliRupterEC 7.3 settings files that can be loaded into IntelliRupter fault interrupters
with R3 Control Modules using IntelliLink Setup Software.

Overview

Overview

This software and configuration are required:
• Both IntelliRupter 7.3 and IntelliRupterEC 7.3 software must be installed.
• The Powershell Execution Policy must be “RemoteSigned” or more lenient.

Software Requirements

Follow these steps to run the procedure:

STEP 1.

Download the script IntelliRupterToIREC7.3.ps1 from the S&C Customer
Portal and save it in a convenient place on the computer.

STEP 2.

From the Windows

Start

menu, run the program Windows PowerShell ISE

(x86).

STEP 3.

In the blue console area at the bottom of the window, type the path of the script
including the full name of the script. See Figure 114 for an example.

Press the <Enter> key to run the script.

STEP 5.

The Open File dialog box opens. Select the folder containing the IntelliRupter
7.3 settings files to be converted.

STEP 6.

Select to highlight each file to be converted. See Figure 115 on page 181.
