Status Point
This is the point number the SCADA system will see in response to a static or event data
request or an unsolicited event response.
Code-Description
These are the point codes representing specific status points that may be assigned to
individual SCADA point numbers. Setting a code-description to the
End
option defines
the end of the configured points list and the maximum number of status points that can
be returned.
Status points received from the external device may be mapped to individual SCADA
points. Enter the external device status point number (the range is 0 to 255) in this column.
See the external device manufacturer’s documentation for definitions of its status points.
Class
This is the DNP event class in which this point can be placed. Specify the
Class 1
,
Class 2
, or
Class 3
setting, or choose the
No Event
setting if event data reporting is
turned off for this point.
This screen contains configuration parameters for
DNP
status points. Map these points
to make them available in your SCADA system. See Figure 95.
