Commands

The common commands are taken from the IEEE 488.2 (IEC 625-2) standard. They have the same
effect on all devices. The headers of these commands consist of an asterisk "*" followed by three let-
ters. Many common commands refer to the status reporting system which is described in detail in Sec-
tion 3.7.
