Terminating the entry
Terminate the entry of the numeric value with the
SEL
LOCAL
key.
After a correct entry, the editor is deactivated. In the case of a faulty entry the
editor remains active and the previous value is indicated again in the editing
field. An acoustic message indicates that the entry is refused.
Any key except the keys in the menu field can be used to invalidate the nu-
meric entry and abort editing.

Menus and Notation
In the following sections all menu commands implemented in the NRT are described in detail. Each of
the three main menus is dealt with in a separate section. A brief description and a graphical menu over-
view is given at the beginning of each section.
A detailed description of each menu item follows next:

graphical display of the menu item showing its position in the menu,
•
description of the parameter,
•
data of the parameter.

All submenus of a menu are dealt with in the same section. The same notation as for the main menu is
used. In each submenu display its source is indicated on the left and thus the position in the menu, eg:
