:SENSe<n>:BANDwidth | BWIDth:VIDeo:FNUMber <f>
This command sets the video bandwidth for the rectified RF via the <f> parameter. The setting
mainly influences the measurement of the peak envelope power (PEP), determination of the crest
factor (CF), the measurement of the average burst power (AV.BRST) and the complementary
cumulative distribution function (CCDF).
For details see Section 2.3.1, ENV KEY (Selection of Envelope Parameters). The section also
lists the parameter <f> for all possible settings (Table 2-1).
Example:
:SENS1:BAND:VID:FNUM 3
*RST value: sensor-dependent
:SENSe<n>:BURSt
This node provides the commands for configuration of the AV.BRST measurement function.
:SENSe<n>:BURSt:MODE AUTO | USER
This command instructs the NRT how to measure the average burst power (see also Section
2.3.1.3, Average Burst Power):
AUTO
The sensor automatically recognizes the duty cycle of the burst series and calculates
the average burst power from this duty cycle and the average power. An appropriate
video bandwidth has to be set (see hints in Section 2.3.1.3). For NAP-sensors,
AUTO cannot be selected.
USER
The duty cycle is defined by the burst width and burst period (see below). The NRT
calculates the average burst power from this duty cycle and the average power.
Example:
:SENS1:BURS:MODE AUTO
*RST value: USER
:SENSe<n>:BURSt:PERiod 0 to 1s | MINimum | MAXimum
This command defines the burst period. It is only valid in the "USER" mode (see command
:SENSe<n>:BURSt:MODE).
Example:
:SENS1:BURS:PER 1ms
*RST value: sensor-dependent
:SENSe<n>:BURSt:WIDTh 0 to 1s | MINimum | MAXimum
This command defines the width of a burst. It is only valid in the "USER" mode (see command
:SENSe<n>:BURSt:MODE).
Example:
:SENS1:BURS:WIDT 10ms
*RST value: sensor-dependent
