Closing the in-
strument:

Proceed in reverse order to close the instrument. Press the two covers to-

gether when screwing on the rear-panel feet.

Attention:

Make sure that the braided cord is correctly fitted into the grooves of the case.

4.5.2 Option

NRT-B1

Installation:

Open the instrument (Section 4.5.1).

Cut out cover plate on rear panel using small side-cutting pliers (see Fig. 4-4).

Plug the option, with sub-D connector X1 pointing ahead, into the rear panel

from inside the instrument (see Fig. 4-5).

Fix the option with the two Phillips screws on the wiring side W1.

Tighten the two nuts of sub-D connector X1.

Connect cable W1 to the Mainboard (connector X1).

Close the instrument (Section 4.5.1).

Removal:

To remove the option, proceed in reverse order.

4.5.3 Option

NRT-B2

Installation:

Open the instrument (Section 4.5.1).

Remove tow round caps from the rear panel (see Fig. 4-5).

Insert panel jacks from outside into the rear panel.

Slide nut over the cable and tighten it.

Plug cable W8 from sensor 2 into connector X81 to X88 and cable W9 from

sensor 3 into connector X91 to X98 on the Mainboard. The correct position of
the connector is ensured by coding.

Set slide switch S1-2 to ON position (Mainboard).

Close the instrument (Section 4.5.1).

Removal:

To remove the option, proceed in reverse order.
