Parameters
Parameters must be separated from the header by a "white space". If several
parameters are specified in a command, they are separated by a comma (,).
Example:
Definition:
[SENSe<Sensor>:]AVERage:COUNt:AUTO:NSRatio <nsr>
Command:
AVER:COUN:AUTO:NSR 0.01
Special characters | and { }
|
A vertical bar in parameter definitions indicates alternative possibilities in the
sense of "or". The effect of the command differs, depending on which parame-
ter is used.

INITiate:CONTinuous ON | OFF

INITiate:CONTinuous ON
starts the measurements
Command
INITiate:CONTinuous OFF
stops the measurements

Parameters in braces may be included in the command once, several times or
not at all.

The common commands are taken from the IEEE 488.2 (IEC 625–2) standard.
The headers of these commands consist of an asterisk

followed by three letters.
