Replacing/Adjusting Carriage
Assemblies
This section describes how to replace or adjust a carriage
assembly. If you are replacing a carriage assembly it will
most likely need to be adjusted. The carriage assemblies
are the wheels that allow linear gate movement. There
are two types of carriage assemblies and linear guides on
the CubiScan 25. The back linear guide is an open rail
that uses a three-wheel carriage assembly. The front
linear guide is a V-rail that uses a five-wheel carriage
assembly. The V-rail carriage assembly has V-rail
compatible wheels.
