Part Replacement Replacing the Load Cell Summing Board

2. Carefully remove the glass platform and place it in a
safe location.
3. Remove the four thumb screws (two at each end of
the CubiScan 25) holding the scale plate in place.
4. Remove the scale plate and set it aside.
5. Use the 3/32'' Allen wrench to remove the eight
screws holding the load cell summing board lid in
place and remove the lid. Refer to
Figure 57 .
6. Disconnect the load cell summing cable by loosening
the screws and pulling the cable straight out. Refer to
Figure 58 .
7. Disconnect all the load cell connection wires by
loosening the corresponding flathead screw with a
small flathead screwdriver. Refer to
Figure 60 .
8. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the five
screws holding the load cell summing board in place.

summing board and turn it over.
9. Remove the two screws fastening the load cell
summing board and scale card together. Refer to
Figure 61 .
10. Remove the load cell summing board and discard it.
11. Locate the replacement load cell summing board and
screw it into the scale card using the screws from
step 9.
12. Screw the load cell summing board into place using
the screws from step 8.
13. Reconnect the load cell connection wires from step 7.
Refer to Figure 62 .
14. Reconnect the load cell summing cable from step 6.
15. Replace the load cell summing box lid and screw it
into place using the screws from step 5.
16. Replace the scale plate and secure it using the thumb
screws from step 3. The thumb screws should not be
tightened all the way, they should merely hold the
