Part Replacement

Replacing the Controller Box

 CubiScan 25 Service Manual

7. Move the gate to the left side of the CubiScan 25.

8. Remove the shroud.

9. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the two 

screws holding one end of the proximity sensor in 
place. Refer to 

Figure 39

.

10. Unscrew the other end of the proximity sensor cable 

from the controller box. Refer to 

Figure 40

.

11. Discard the proximity sensor.

12. Secure the replacement proximity sensor in place 

using the screws from step 9.

13. Screw the other end of the proximity sensor into the 

controller box. Route the cord so that it does not 
interfere with gate movement.

14. Replace the shroud and secure it using the screws 

and nuts from steps 5 and 6.

15. Replace the scale plate and secure it using the thumb 

screws from step 3. The thumb screws should not be 
tightened all the way, they should merely hold the 
scale plate in place while still allowing free 
movement.

16.  Replace the glass platform.

17. Power the CubiScan 25 back on.

This section describes how to replace the controller. The 
controller box is located behind the touchscreen, on the 
right side of the CubiScan 25.
