3. Is the touchscreen surface damaged? If the touchscreen is damaged, you may require a
replacement part. Contact Quantronix Technical Assistance at +1 801-451-7000 to obtain a
replacement part.
4. Calibrate the touchscreen.
5. Temporarily remove the SD card. For instructions on how to remove the SD card, see
“Updating the Firmware” on page 19
. You may not need to update the firmware, first try
simply removing the card for a moment. If doing this does not correct the problem, continue
on to step 6.
6. Update the firmware. For information on how to do this, see
.
7. Check the touchscreen to circuit board wires. If any of these wires are damaged or pinched
you may need a replacement touchscreen. Refer to Figure 3 below.
8. If, after completing the above steps, the touchscreen is still not responding, please contact
Quantronix Technical Assistance at +1 801-451-7000.
Scale Errors
This section describes the various scale errors that can occur with the CubiScan 25. Refer to the
following sections for more information.
Dashes in Weight Field
Review the following information if there are dashes in the weight field. The location of the
dashes is important.
Bottom Dashes
Dashes in the bottom of the weight field mean that the scale is reading less than zero. If you have
dashes appearing in the bottom of the weight field, complete the following steps:
