Replacing the Scale Card
This section describes how to replace the scale card. The
scale card is located in the load cell summing box.
Handle the scale card with care and avoid exposing it to
static electricity.
Items Needed
• 3/32'' Allen Wrench
• Phillips Screwdriver
• Replacement Scale Card
Complete the following steps to replace the scale card.
1. Power the CubiScan 25 off.
2. Carefully remove the glass platform and place it in a
safe location.
3. Remove the four thumb screws (two at each end of
the CubiScan 25) holding the scale plate in place.
4. Remove the scale plate and set it aside.
5. Use the 3/32'' Allen wrench to remove the eight
screws holding the load cell summing board lid in
place and remove the lid. Refer to
Figure 53 .
6. Disconnect the load cell summing cable by loosening
the screws and pulling the cable straight out. Refer to
Figure 54 .
7. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the five
screws holding the load cell summing board in place.

Figure 54 . Once these screws have been
removed, carefully lift the boards up and turn them
over. Make sure that the green, black, red, and white
load cell connection wires are not disconnected
during this process.
8. Unscrew the two screws on the bottom of the load
cell summing board. Refer to Figure 56 .
