9. Disconnect the proximity sensor cable (part number
13320), the encoder cable (part number 13319), and
the gate power cable (part number 13314) where they
connect to the motherboard. See
Figure 50 .
10. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws
(four total) located on each corner of the
motherboard.
11. Carefully remove the motherboard and set it aside.
12. Disconnect all three of the cables attached to the
power supply. You may need to use pliers to remove
the ground cable connection. See
Figure 51 .
13. Using the short Phillips screwdriver, remove the
screw holding the power supply cage lid in place. See
Figure 52 .
14. Remove the cage lid and set it aside.
15. Using the Phillips screwdriver, remove the four
screws holding the power supply board down. The
screws are located in each corner of the power supply
board.
16. Remove the power supply and discard it.
17. Locate the replacement power supply and screw it
into place using the screws from step 15.
18. Reconnect the cables from step 12.
19. Replace the cage lid and secure it using the screw
from step 13.
20. Replace the motherboard and secure it using the
screws from step 10.
21. Reconnect the cables from steps 7, 8, and 9.
22. Replace the controller box lid and secure it using the
screws from step 6.
23. Replace the scale plate and secure it using the thumb
screws from step 3. The thumb screws should not be
tightened all the way, they should merely hold the
scale plate in place while still allowing free
movement.
