7-2-10 Replacement of contactor for interlock
INTERLOCK terminals of I/O terminal block is connected with the operation coil of the internal contactor in the controller.
With the open and close operation of the contactor, the power of laser oscillator turns off when the INTERLOCK terminal is
released.
Effect from deterioration
When the drive of the contactor gets deteriorated by the long-term operation, the power of laser oscillator does not turn off
correctly with INTERLOCK terminal is released.
By using INTERLOCK MONITOR terminals, you can monitor the contact malfunction.
Replacement interval
• Number of switching cycles of INTERLOCK contactor has exceeded one million. (B10d = 1,000,000 times)
• The output status of INTERLOCK MONITOR terminals (Y16-Y17, Y18-Y19) does not correspond to the input status of
INTERLOCK terminals (X16-X17, X18-X19).
• Alarm for INTERLOCK open (E400, E401) cannot be released.
How to confirm the number of opening/closing operations
Go to the “Maintenance” screen and select “Operating data”.
“Number of switching cycles of INTERLOCK contactors” is
displayed.

Steps for replacement of contactor

Turn OFF the key switch of the controller, and disconnect the AC power cable.
2.
Remove four screws on the back of the controller. To remove the side panel from the controller, slide the panel to the
back first, then pull it to open.
