14.2.2.4
Configuration Restore from RCP
Use the following window to restore the configuration of a switch from an
RCP server.
Choose
Tools > Configuration Restore & Backup > Configuration
Restore from RCP (Servers)
from the tool-bar to display the following
window.

You can configure the following parameters.
Click
Restore
to start restoring.
Parameter
Overview
RCP Server IP
Enter an IP address of the RCP server.
User Name
Enter the user-name of the RCP connection. The
number of characters for the name can be up to 32.
Source File
Enter the source file-name and path of a configuration
file in an RCP server. The number of characters for this
field can be up to 64.
Destination File
Enter the destination path and location in a switch that
saves a configuration file. The number of characters for
this field can be up to 64.
•
If you choose the
running-config
option, the
configuration file being executed in a switch is
restored to be overwritten.
•
If you choose the
startup-config
option, a start-up
configuration file in a switch is restored to be
overwritten.
Replace
If you choose this option, a configuration file in a switch
is replaced by this file.
