3-2-1 Changing the System Settings etc.
Follow the procedure below to change the system settings or screen data con-
tents.
Procedure
1. Turn ON the power to the NT620S/620C.
The NT620S/620C will enter the RUN mode and the start-up screen will be
displayed. The start-up screen varies according to registered screen data.
2. Press appropriate touch switches to display the System Menu, and change
system settings. For the method for calling the System Menu, refer to the
“Operations with the System Menu” (page 61).
If no system program is installed or the system program has been destroyed, the
system program must be installed. For the installation method, refer to 2-4
“Installing the System Program” (page 30).
If the NT620S/620C has failed to start up normally; an error message is dis-
played or no screen is displayed, memory needs to be initialized.
For the memory initializing procedure, refer to Section 3-4 “Initializing Memory”
(page 63).

The NT620S/620C operates in either “RUN”, or “Transmit” mode. The operation
modes can be switched by using the System Menu.
3-3-1 System Menu and the Operation Modes
Select an operation mode by pressing the corresponding touch switch in the Sys-
tem Menu. The operation modes with respect to the System Menu are related to
each other as shown below.
For the operations with the System Menu, refer to the “Operations with the Sys-
tem Menu” (page 61).
