Document Settings - File Type
Specify the file type of data being transmitted.

The available file types are as follows.

"JPEG" cannot be selected when binding and sending multiple documents.

If you select "JPEG", "Page Separation" is automatically selected and set to "By Page" in Scan Setting.

You can specify the compression format when saving a TIFF file in color. For details, refer to the "User's
Guide [Network Scan/Fax/Network Fax Operations]".
Scan Setting
Specify a collection of data.

Description
Saves data in PDF format.
Compact PDF
Further compressed PDF file. This format is useful when saving a scanned full color
data.
TIFF
Saves data in TIFF format.
JPEG
Saves data in JPEG format.
XPS
Saves data in XPS format.
Compact XPS
Save data in further compressed XPS file.

Multi Page
Creates all the scanned originals as one file. This item cannot be specified together
with the "JPEG" file type.
Page Separation
Separates the scanned data to save every specified number of pages to one file. Use
the keypad to enter the number of pages to be saved in one file.
