7.5 Size Adjustment
1. Read the stored lens data of square 45.
(See 7.2.4.)
2. Select the processing settings as below on the
layout screen.
1) Frame type
a. In bevel grinding: Metal
b. In flat grinding: Nylor
2) Grinding mode: Auto
3) Polishing: NONE
4) S.F.B.: NONE
3. Measure the lens diameter after the
processing. Verify that it is within the
specifications.
1) In bevel grinding:

45.0±0.05mm
2) In flat grinding:
φ
45.0±0.10mm
4. Adjust the size by following the procedures below when the lens diameter is out of the
specifications.
1) Establish the Parameter Setting mode.
(See 7.1.2.)
2) Press Adjustment.
3) Press Finish Size.
4) Adjust the parameter settings below.
a. CR39, Bevel
b. CR39, Flat
c. Hi Index, Bevel
d. Hi Index, Flat
e. Polyca/Acrylic, Bevel
f. Polyca/Acrylic, Flat
g. Trivex, Bevel
h. Trivex, Flat
i. Glass, Bevel
j. Glass, Flat
* Use the lens corresponded to each parameter for the adjustment.
* Use the lens: CR-39, diopter of -3D to -5D to adjust the size of the CR39 lens.
* Enter -1.00 when the Finish size is

* Measure the lens edge of the front side when measuring the flat ground lens.
* Change the parameter values in ±0.05 increments.
* Adjustment of the Glass, Bevel (Flat) processing is only for the wheel type of PLB-G.
* Match the tendency of the lens sizes even when each lens size is within the specifications.
* Perform the size adjustment by changing the size on the Setting - Grinding screen when the
frame sizes differ because of the slight difference between the bevel shape of the frame and
the one of the ground lens. Do not change the parameters above.
