7.8.2 Adjusting the polishing AXIS
1. Establish the Parameter Setting mode.
(See 7.1.2.)
2. Press Polish Diff.
3. Select 0.0 for the CR39, Flat.
4. Read the stored lens data of square 45.
(See 7.2.4.)
5. Select the processing settings as below on the
layout screen.
1) Lens type: CR39
2) Frame type: Nylor
3) Processing mode: Auto
4) Polishing: Polish
5) S.F.B.: NONE
6. Adjust the polishing AXIS by following the
procedures below when the unpolished part
is left on the lens edge after the processing.
1) Establish the Parameter Setting mode.
(See 7.1.2.)
2) Press Adjustment.
3) Press AXIS.
4) Change the parameter value of the Polish.
* Input the plus parameter value when the
unpolished part is left in the upper left lens
edge viewing from the lens front.
* Adjust the polishing AXIS so that the lens edge
is polished evenly in the entire circumference
even when the unpolished part is partly left.
7. Set the parameter value of CR39, Flat as it
was after the adjustment is completed.
