4.1.3 Restoration of settings at power on
The settings of the instrument at startup depends on how the power was turned off when the instrument was
last used. In any case, however, the oscillator output is always off immediately after startup.
If the instrument has stopped operating because of a power outage or the power switch being turned off
during operation, the power will be turned on automatically by the process for recovery from a power
outage or by switching on the power with the power switch (standby switch operation is not necessary).
When power is restored in this way, however, the settings are not restored to the settings at the time of
power interruption. Instead, the settings are retrieved from setting memory No.1. For more information on
the setting memory, refer to "
5.12 Memory operations
".
