The output impedance is 50 ohms, regardless of whether the output is on or off. Even when the output is
set to off, the relay is constantly connected to the internal output amplifier (the relay is always on). For
that reason, turning the output on or off does not affect the output impedance.
When the power supply is off, the relay is also off and the output amplifier is disconnected from the OSC
connector. Even in that state, the output impedance is remains at 50 ohms. However, when the power is
turned on or turned off, the output impedance is temporarily unstable.
The output voltage is set at a time of no load (open load). When a 50 ohm load is connected, the output is
at half of the set voltage. The maximum output current is 100 mA. This instrument can be connected to a
load resistance of 50 ohms or more at maximum output.
The maximum isolation voltage is restricted according to the frequency as described below. Applying
high voltages at high frequencies may result in a large AC current flowing in floating capacitance within
the instrument, creating a risk of damage to the equipment. Be certain to use the instrument at voltages
below the rated isolation voltage.

Below 45 Hz
: 600 Vpk (AC + DC)
45 Hz to 100 kHz
: 600 Vrms
100 kHz to 3 MHz
: 600 Vrms (AC) × 100 ÷ F, where F is frequency in kHz
3 MHz to 15 MHz
: 20 Vrms (AC)
For frequencies of 45 Hz or higher, the RMS voltage including DC is 600 Vrms or less and the peak
voltage is 849 Vpk or less.
