■ Cautions concerning sequence measurement
• The validity check is not performed for the sweep frequency range of each setting memory number.
Depending on the settings in the memory, the sweep frequencies may be greatly separated or the sweep
ranges may overlap when the memory number is changed. Nevertheless, the measurements in sequence
measurement are performed in the order of the setting memory number.
• For marker operations on sequence measurement data, the markers are moved in the order in which the
sequence measurements were performed. If the high and low values of the sweep range are reversed
between setting memories, turning the control knob to the right (clockwise) may move the marker in the
direction of lower frequencies.
• The total number of sweep frequency points that can be measured in a single sequence is the sum of the
number for memory 1 through memory N (largest memory number) and the maximum total is 20,001
frequency points. If the maximum number is reached while sequence measurement is still in progress,
the measurement is stopped at that time. No check is made for the limit on the number of sweep points
before the measurement begins. If the automatic high density sweep function (SLOW sweep) is used,
please note that there may be an unexpected increase in the number of frequency points.
