A PREV search moves the marker in the reverse order of a NEXT search.
■ Marker search procedure
(1) When performing a value search, set the value in the parameters of

[SEARCH VALUE]
.
(2) Select from among [SEARCH X] , [SEARCH Y1] , and [SEARCH Y2] to set the target for the search.
(3) Tap on the search item of the function key. There are multiple items for Y1 and Y2. Scroll the function
key [1/4

] to [4/4

] to display the search items and tap on the search item key for your search.
(4) The marker will move and a search completed message will be displayed for a short time.
(5) The function key display will remain, so it is possible to perform another search. When you have
finished searching, press the
CANCEL
key.
■ About the data position indicated by the marker
The marker moves only to the position of frequency data that has actually been measured. Marker search
also only finds measured frequencies, and the marker is moved to the frequency data that is closest to the
search conditions. Accordingly, you should note that the marker position that results from the search is
not usually exactly the same as the search value that was set. For a more accurate reading of the marker
value, increase the sweep resolution (increase

) and perform the
measurement again.
