Exciter VCXO
To view the front panel’s VCXO Calibration screens, select Exciter VCXO from the Settings ->
Transmitter menu. See
Figure 2.2.111
.
The 10 MHz Delta and VCXO 10 MHz Calibration values are for display only and are not user adjustable.
NOTE
:
An external 10 MHz source must be connected to the transmitter and External 10 MHz disabled
(refer to
Figure 2.2.104 on page 2.2.126
and
Ext 10 MHz Input on page 2.2.139
) before attempting to
run the calibration routine.
From the Exciter VCXO screen, use the Front Panel rotary knob to select
Run VCXO 10 MHz Calibration.
The calibration routine will begin when the external 10 MHz source is connected.

Remote I/O
NOTE
:
The Exciter PWB (A1) contains a jumper (E1) that allows the user to configure the Remote I/O
supply voltage. The factory setting is pins 2 and 3 for internal supply (+12V-OP). To use an external
supply voltage for remote inputs, jumper (E1) must be moved to pins 1 and 2 (+12V).
To view the Remote I/O screen (see Figure 2.2.112 on page 2.2.131 ) on the front panel display, select
Settings -> Transmitter-> Remote I/O from the Main Menu. Use the Front Panel rotary knob to select
Remote Inputs (see
Remote Inputs on page 2.2.131 ), Remote Outputs (see Remote Outputs on
page 2.2.132 ) or Analog Outputs (see Analog Outputs on page 2.2.132 ) to view or edit details on the
selected inputs or output.
