Use the Front Panel rotary knob to scroll through the desired Mod Loss settings, then press the Front
Panel rotary knob to enable editing of the parameter. Within any of the editing screens, use the Front
Panel rotary knob to edit or toggle a parameter value, noting the minimum and maximum limitations
indicated at the bottom of the display. When complete, press the Front Panel rotary knob to save the
change. Press the Back button to discard any changes and return to the previous menu.
Note the following Modulation Loss options:
• Enable: Determines whether the modulation loss feature is used. Select Enabled or Disabled.
• Timeout Minutes: Sets the time period of low audio (based on the threshold setting) after
which the transmitter will take action. Select a value between 0 and 255 minutes.
• Timeout Seconds: Sets the time period of low audio (based on the threshold setting) after
which the transmitter will take action. Select a value between 0 and 60 seconds.
• Threshold: Sets the modulation threshold below which the transmitter will take action. Select a
value between 0 and 100%.
• Reaction: Determines the action taken by the transmitter when the modulation has been below
the threshold for the timeout period. Select Alarm Only, RF Inhibit or Switch Preset.
• Preset: Determines the preset that becomes active after a modulation loss if the modulation
loss reaction is set to Switch Preset.
Pilot and Delay Settings. When you select the Pilot and Delay heading from the Edit Preset screen,
you can edit the settings of the pilot signal (see Figure 2.2.82 ).
