FM Polarity

Allows the user to invert the polarity of the frequency modulation (ie. positive going modulation signal 
yields positive deviation; or positive going modulation yields negative deviation). Options are Normal 
(default) or Inverted. Use the Front Panel rotary knob to select Normal or Inverted and press the Front 
Panel rotary knob to select. Press the Cancel button to return to discard any changes. See 

Figure 2.2.124

: 

Make sure that the RF stage is disabled (RF off) before changing the FM Polarity setting. If not, a 

message will appear prompting you to do so.
