Front Panel User Interface (FPUI)
The VX150 to VX2 uses a Front Panel User Interface (FPUI) to control the transmitter locally.
See
Figure 2.2.56 for the Dashboard display that is used for viewing purposes only. The FPUI contains a
menu-based series of pages that serve specific functions.
The Dashboard screen displays the following information:
• Top block: active preset (P#), the transmitter’s frequency and forward power and current time.
• Middle block: preset, output power and the desired power set point.
• Lower block: reflected power, temperature and percentage modulation.
NOTE
:
If a transmitter name has been assigned, the first eight (8) characters will appear in the top block
between the active preset and the frequency fields.
NOTE

The Temperature measurement is the same value on the AUI’s top banner and is a representation
of the transmitter’s current Inlet temperature. See
Advanced User Interface (AUI) on page 2.2.7

Turning RF on and off
From the front panel of the transmitter, press the RF ON/OFF button (see Figure 2.2.57 on page 2.2.87 )
to enable the RF. The RF ON/OFF button’s LED will be red and display 'OFF' in an RF off state and will be
green and display 'ON' when RF is on.
Turning Remote Control on and off
From the front panel of the transmitter, press the REMOTE button (see Figure 2.2.57 ) to enable remote
control. The REMOTE ON/OFF button’s LED will be red and display 'OFF' for remote control disabled,
and will be green and display 'ON' for remote control enabled. Local control remains active in either
switch state.
