Turn-on Delay
Allows the user to delay the start-up (RF on) of the transmitter when recovering from an Ac power loss,
in order to limit the simultaneous power demand for multiple transmitters on a common generator by
staggering their turn on sequence. See
Figure 2.2.120 . Allowable range is 0-120 seconds, default is 0
seconds (disabled).

Ramp-up Speed
Allows the user to alter the transmitter’s start-up speed of the transmitter when recovering from an Ac
power loss. This setting establishes the time it takes the transmitter to ramp up from 0 W to full power.
This setting directly increases the system’s speed to reach full power. Normally the transmitter will take
about 7 seconds to reach full power. For example if the desired ramp up time is 30 seconds, then the
ramp-up setting should be set to 23 seconds. In multi-transmitter systems that are on a common
generator or power grid, adjusting the ramp-up speed can be used to reduce the transient load on the
source during an ac power recovery. See
Figure 2.2.121 .
Use the Front Panel rotary knob to edit the Ramp-Up Speed between 0 (default) and 600 seconds. Press
the Front Panel rotary knob to save the change. Press Cancel button to discard any changes and return
to the previous menu.
